Historic preservation surveys are the first step in any effort to protect historic resources. Nation Park Service-qualified historians complete formal surveys which include detailed background information, physical descriptions, and precise documentation. Like land records, this information is public, precised, and widely accepted as formal documentation of historic significance.
Wilson, Wyoming Commercial Core Survey
The Wilson Commercial Core Survey includes historical data for the commercial structures in downtown Wilson, Wyoming. In 2022 both Hungry Jack’s and Nora’s Fish Creek Inn were sold. Fortunately, these iconic businesses were sold to preservation-minded owners and they both reflect new vitality in the historic core of the town.
